Refund Policy - the basics

At Djan Autos Ltd, we are committed to ensuring transparency and fairness in every transaction. Our refund policy has been designed to reflect industry standards while protecting the interests of both the customer and the business.

All vehicles are sold as described, and we take every reasonable step to ensure the information we provide regarding a vehicle’s condition, history, and features is accurate and up to date. We encourage all customers to thoroughly inspect or request a virtual viewing of the vehicle prior to purchase. Any known faults or imperfections will be disclosed honestly before sale.

Refunds are not automatically provided once a vehicle has been collected or delivered, unless the request falls under your statutory rights as a consumer. If the vehicle is found to be materially misdescribed or not as agreed in writing at the point of sale, you may be entitled to request a refund, return, or repair under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. In such cases, we ask that you contact us within 14 days of receiving the vehicle so we can assess the situation and respond accordingly.

To initiate a refund request, customers must contact us by email at info.enquiries@djanautos.com with details of the concern and supporting evidence, such as photos or documentation. We will assess each case fairly and aim to resolve all matters promptly and professionally.

Please note that vehicles sold under trade terms, part exchange agreements, or at discounted prices due to known issues or declared faults are not eligible for refunds unless agreed otherwise in writing. Refunds will not be issued for issues that were disclosed or visible prior to purchase.

In the event that a refund is approved, any payment will be returned via the original payment method within 7–14 business days of the vehicle being returned and inspected. The customer may be responsible for returning the vehicle to our premises unless otherwise agreed.

We reserve the right to refuse refunds in circumstances where the vehicle has been misused, altered, damaged after delivery, or resold. Our decision in such cases will be final.
